Hi, I’m SarahRachael
A little bit about me – I love all things organic, natural, earthy and vintage.
Photography has always been my passion, I see the way light falls on things everywhere I go and love finding the beauty in everything. I got my first camera when I was 9 years old and even have a home video of me jumping up down -crazy excited- because I got a CAMERA!!! And so my passion began.
I started my photography career when I was in college, while being a full time student and holding a part time job teaching children with autism, I also started up my own business. I was photographing any job that came my way – weddings, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, headshots, senior portraits, families, real estate, and even some events with some well known public figures. Until, 6 years ago when I photographed the first of my friends to be pregnant and then her precious new baby. I knew then that I had found my real passion in the world of photography – Mommies-to-be and the pure amazingness of newborns!
A few years after I found my speciality, I also had the blessing of being able to be a Mommy myself and to experience the miracle that all of the Mommies I was photographing had been experiencing. I now have two amazing children who have helped me to grow my passion and my business in ways I never imagined. They have given me the drive to be the best that I can be and to be a great role model for my children; to teach them that you can achieve anything you dream with a lot of hard work and dedication.
My whole life I have found it hard to let go of special moments; photographs have always helped me to look back and remember those times. Now, as a Mom, this has become even more important to me. In our fast paced lives we don’t always remember the small details.
For these reasons I put my heart, soul and a lot of time (before, during and after your session) into each and every session and family that joins me in my photography family. My goal is to capture your family’s special details and the uniqueness that makes you-you in a way that creates heirloom art for your home!
These times go by way too quickly – I want to help you capture them in an artful way that you can cherish and display in your home for a lifetime.
I am available for sessions during the week days as I cherish my weekends for my own family time. I look forward to meeting and spending time with you and your family!
